In this tutorial, I'll walk you through how to integrate a Jira Project with Miro. This tutorial builds upon our previous lessons, Step-by-Step Guide: Creating and Configuring a Jira Project.
Integrating Jira with Miro is especially useful when you have issues that require in-depth exploration and flexibility in designing or organizing content. For instance, during the research phase of a product you're developing, Miro's visual platform can significantly enhance your workflow.
Create a New Task Issue: Start by creating a new issue in Jira, selecting the Task type. For example:

Install Miro for Jira Cloud: Navigate to the Apps menu in the Jira navigation bar and select Explore more apps. In the search field, type Miro for Jira Cloud. Click on the app to view its details, then select Get app → Get it now to begin the installation process.

Link Miro to Your Task: Once the installation is complete, return to the Task Issue you created earlier. Click on the … menu (more options) and select Miro Boards. You’ll see a new Miro section appear below the issue description.

Add a Miro Board: Click the Add board button. If this is your first time integrating Miro, you may be prompted to log in to your Miro account. After logging in, you can choose which Miro board to display and even select a specific frame within that board.

Embed the Board: Once you’ve selected the frame you want to display, click Embed board. The Jira issue detail view will update to show the Miro board, seamlessly integrating your visual workspace with your project management tools.

Integrating Jira with Miro provides a powerful combination of project management and visual collaboration tools, allowing your team to explore ideas more deeply and organize content with greater flexibility.
By embedding Miro boards directly into Jira issues, you can ensure that all your project details are centralized and accessible, making it easier to track progress and stay aligned across teams.
